Sites for marketers to gain insights and exposure

Using my data taken from http://www.strategicbusinessinsights.com/vals/presurvey.shtml or (SBI) and https://claritas360.claritas.com/mybestsegments/ I’ve realized how marketers can use this information or data to better market to one’s lifestyle. Ways in which the (SBI) survey can help markets have a better understanding of their current and potential clients can really give them a better understanding of how people spend their money and live their everyday life. From my results my first section it gave me an experiencers trademark for that I want everything, are first in and first of trend adoption, are up on the latest fashions, have a heightened sense for visual stimulation, and many more as you can see in the photo below.  Graphical user interface, text

All these responses can help marketers have a better understanding of who to promote certain products to people like me. The first one that stuck out to me was being the first in and out of trend adoption, this can help those marketers share the next up and coming idea or product to this group that enjoys staying up to the latest trend before the next one comes out. As for my second section of responses I got innovators for this I am always taking in information, are confident to experiment, make the highest number of financial transactions, have international exposure and many more. To better classify certain groups this survey can help marketers better understand how clients live their daily life, and ways they spend their money and the emotions it brings up when making certain decisions. Marketers can use this information to have a better view of the future by already having potential buyers with taking in the data given to you by (SBI). 

After going through Clarita’s site and deciding which category I fell into and checking out my zip code I’ve come to the conclusion that this site can be very helpful for marketers to have a good understanding of the direct area to market their products. I would imagine this can have a lot to do with the average standards of each city, whether it’s the housing market where homes could start at $100,000 in one city and then one could start at $1 million for the average home. This site can really help determine whether your product will even sell in the area that you are promoting. Like let’s say you’re marketing a new designer purse, in the town of La crosse the likely hood of someone purchasing something like this is very little, however if you were to be promoting the purse in Beverly Hills there is a way greater of a chance that many people will be purchasing these items because many people in that area enjoy the pleasures of owning material items.

Google Search Training Course Certification!

In the google search training courses I learned a lot more about how to be going about searching the web and had a refreshment on some information I already had known in the past. Before I took the courses, I was familiar with some of the tools on how to convert weight or languages, on how to change your location in searching methods like if you wanted to be on google in Japan, and with the way to filter images on google which is a way to only search by one color or to search from a certain time period. In the first power search training course I was able to learn about how certain key word choices can change the whole search, how to search from an image and find the creator or photographer, and to combine search methods to get better results. In the advanced power searching course I was able to learn more about the key elements in being the best searcher.  

The first new thing I learned was about the wild card operator and the patterns you must arrange the asterisks in to get a more powerful search, I also learned about google scholar which is a great tool to have when drafting a report because it gives you multiple sources of the exact same information when searching using site structure tools. In the advanced training course, I was able to have a refresh on some topics as well like when he talked about the number range operator which is putting two number in quotes with two dots in between, which will only search in between those two numbers. 

I will use some of the skills in my daily life like the key search terms, the conversions, and the file type. The file type should be important when making marketing flyers or putting together presentations to get files in PDF form or CSV whichever you need for the time being. I think some of the course’s challenges were hard to get a hang of, because they did not always tell you the right answer but once I got the hang of it became quite easy to understand. Also, at first, I was hard to get the hang of the power searching when you add or minus a word or add stars or quotations can get tricky cause it seems like they overlap in their usage. The main thing that I learned from the power searching courses was how to just be a better searcher, from the search by image, the shortening of words in a search to removing the invasive results, all of these are setting me up to be a better searcher going from a college student going into the workforce.  

Skills and Tasks that my Marketing Research class has taught me!

I am currently taking a marketing research class at Western Technical college. During my time in my marketing research class we I was taught all the ways to become the best researcher, different sites you can use while doing specific research, how to make great surveys, and communicating the search results. When we covered the learning of survey research, we were taught how to create an analysis plan and how to combine more than one survey result for a cross tabulation. In this report below you will see that a group and I are doing research for a potential guided hiking tour business.
